The Chemical and Biological Engineering Program ONLY admits degree-seeking students for the Fall Quarter - please do not apply for any other quarter. On the application it is important to indicate the highest degree you are seeking from Northwestern University**

Applications to Northwestern University's Graduate School, and by extension to this department, must be submitted electronically. In addition, all fees must be submitted electronically - no checks will be accepted. Please visit the Application Instructions page for more information about the online application process.

As part of a new initiative to better support prospective graduate students, the McCormick School of Engineering has launched an online supplement to the University's application system called GATS. Applicants may use this system to check the status of their application materials. Please use the application number provided to you by the Apply Yourself application system (NOT your PIN) and the email you used in your application.
